Blue Ridge Humane Society - Animal Adoption and Rescue Center

The unsung heroes for the Humane Society work at the Thrift Shop on the Spartanburg Highway, in Hendersonville. About 60 volunteers sort through and clean up donations, price what's brought in and help customers.

It is one of the oldest thrift shops in our community. The bits and pieces really add up - the shop is the Society's NUMBER ONE source of income. All donations are greatly appreciated, as well as tax deductible.

BECOME AN AARC ANGEL

The Blue Ridge Humane Society invites you to become an "AARC Angel." This program gives you the opportunity to provide a home for numerous, homeless pets without adding any to your household.

HOW? An AARC Angel personally sponsors a pet at our Animal Adoption and Rescue Center (AARC) for six months or one year. The AARC Angel program allows individuals (who cannot or do not want to adopt another pet) the opportunity to still provide support for one awaiting a new home.

To become an AARC Angel, complete the form HERE and submit it with your check (which is tax deductible). Your name will be posted at the shelter, as well as on this website with the pet you are sponsoring.
